Ayden on Youtube

Ayden has become addicted to baseball, so we have posted a few videos of his practices on youtube. He has quite the interpretation from watching it on tv. The bat goes almost as far as the ball then as he runs the imaginary bases he fields his own ball! We will keep adding videos now that we know how!!! Keep checking em out! Here is one, but they can all be found by searching for "little varitek" then viewing all our videos.

Spring fun

We have been so busy as usual and it is getting hotter than sauna around here!!! So Jake joined a rugby league in Brunswick and played in his first tournament a couple weeks ago in Charleston. They didn't win any games, but were really close in the last one they played, it was good to get a better grasp on exactly how the game is played... he seems to be really liking it so far, we should head to a couple more tournaments this summer before the real season starts in the fall.

Besides that, Ayden and I finished swim lessons, he always did really well for the first 20 minutes then told me he was done, didn't need to swim anymore and wanted his towel. He is still talking more and more grown up, very matter of fact and knows how to work ya! Today he asked me to get him the moon, told me fly up there and get it for him, when I said I couldn't fly he said, "Well then fly me!". He definately has a personality all of his own. He's liable to get me into trouble if he continues to try and feed other babies at the play park his boobie!

Hunter tested today for his yellow belt with green tip, one belt away from his green and white which places him in the black belt club. He did great, didn't fumble up once through the whole test. He spent the last week here since he is out of school, he sure loves to take care of his brothers...and he is a riot to watch with his friends, especially the girls. He gets that slightly embarassed look when you catch him talking to a girl.

Brady is getting closer and closer to walking, freaks me out daily when he crawls under the table and stands up at the chairs and pushes the across the kitchen one by one. I still can't believe how easy of a baby he is. Nothing makes him mad except not getting food fast enough! Him and his little buddy Clark are great, they just sit and stare at each other then try to take each others eyes out, play ball, and eat toes.
We finally got him a hair cut... a real little boy hair cut!!!

Brady follows Ayden around all day, even to time out!
Never without his dart
One chair down....3 to go

The new belt!!!
This is the best picture I got at the rugby game, we finally got close on the last game.

Our garden

We spent last weekend trying to start getting the yard cleaned up and planted flowers and transplanted and sweat!
We never think to take before pictures when we start a project and I wish we did...because the difference in the yard now is amazing!!! The roses are already blooming!

Granny Panties and Home Runs

Hunter started off the baseball season a little rocky, but at his game on Wednesday he had a base hit then a home run!!!!! He was so excited and has a renewed excitement for baseball! Of course it had to be the first game Jake couldn't make it to, since he took me out to dinner for our anniversary. 3 years!!!! I have put up with him for 3 years already! You all know I'm just kidding, it has been an amazing 3 years. And if he thinks I deserve the ring he gave me after just 3, I may just be spoiled in the years to come...

Love it!!! Just had to share the beauty!

So I was at Ross with the boys the other day and as I was walking by the underwear Ayden reached out and grabbed the biggest pair of pink granny panties and looks at me with huge eyes and says, "Cute mom! Cute!" I'm not sure what to think about that...
Then as we turn the corner and see all the bras he shouts, "Boobies! Mommy, Boobies!" I could feel the eyes trying not to stare! He is talking so much Jake and I can't keep up, he's becoming a bit wise, when Jake was irritating him in the car, he just put his hand out and said, "Drive Dad, just drive." Oh yeah, we are mom and dad more and more, even Kaidi and Jake every once in a while. Too smart.

And Brady is going to be walking before we know it, that little guy doesn't let anything stop him, if there is something in the way, he turns into a monster truck- up and over!

Jake was fixing the tire on the go kart... what a help Petting the goats at the zoo

The picture didn't really turn out, but that is Mr. Happy and Mr. Mischief!

I guess I don't get to post pictures like this much longer...

Go Dawgs!

"Go Dawgs!" Words straight from Aydens mouth when he first saw the gators at the zoo! Wonder where he came up with that?!?

Jake's parents just left after spending a week down here, thawing out from the freezing New England weather! We took a little trip to the Jax Zoo and I have never seen Ayden get so excited, all he wanted to do was "go down there" with the bears, gorillas, monkeys, rhinos, you name it he wanted to be soft to it! Hunter, our tour guide, was amazed at the size of the snakes and called to the monkeys until he saw eat his own poop!

This month has been busy, we took a weekend trip to North Carolina which was great, but too short, it's about time we got the cousins together...boys sure are different than girls.

Hunter just started baseball and is continuing with karate, just had a test for his solid yellow belt.

Brady is finally crawling for real, but still prefers the army scoot! Now, he is pulling up on the furniture and standing. Ayden continues to be more and more entertaining, I think we will be starting swim lessons with him this summer, so that should be interesting! This is all he wanted to wear for days, he insisted that his pj shirt was pants!

Jake and I are doing great! We have decided to start training for a marathon...or at least a half. I think we will be doing a 5k in April, so I will update after that.

You might be a redneck....

Well Jake and the boys got home late last night from Monster Jam 2008 and had such a good time. As Jake was showing me the pictures and video, I couldn't help but poke fun at his 3 % redneck character that is starting to show the longer we are here in good ol' southern Georgia.

If you find Monster trucks to be a fascinating educational experience... you might be a redneck

If you use camo duct tape as a substitute for paint.....you might be a redneck
(and if you think it was really smart and looks cool......you might be a rednecks wife)

If you wake up after a thunderstorm to the surprise of having a new pool in your backyard.....you might be a redneck

(This is the next morning so the pool has dried up again)

If your wife has ever spent an evening in jail with a man named Winston.....I'd say your a redneck

Here are some more Monster truck pictures and a couple of a monster driving a truck....sitting up finally!!!

Look at the Chipmans

Well here we go... I have had it in my mind to do this ever since our Thanksgiving trip to Kentucky and now 3 months later!

I am enjoying some unusual quiet time as Brady and Ayden are both in bed and jake is with Hunter at the Monster Jam in J-Ville. Nights like this I tend to not know what to do!!!

We just celebrated Ayden's 2nd birthday with a superhero party...the sadest superhero party ever. We had to wake him up for the party and he wanted nothing to do with it, I mean nothing- pushed away presents, cake and even his best friends Gabbi, Jenna and Clark. Finally a baseball and a peek of Curious George cracked the crankiness a little and our crazy Ayden came back. He is such a riot right now, talking in more complete sentences everyday and always coming up with something new. We are starting the potty training process, he loves to go sit on the potty and grunt really hard or stand on his stool and pinch and pull on his wang so hard a grown man would scream!

Then there is Brady, nearly 6 months old now. I can't believe how fast he is growing, he is just about crawling but can definitely get around quickly doing the military scoot. I have never met a baby as happy as he is. He is so content to play on the floor or be gooed and gaaed at by his very loving brothers. He is so in love with his daddy too, can't take his eyes off of Jake. We are working on putting an end to the midnight feedings...we all know he is not missing any meals!

Hunter is still doing Karate after school every day and doing great, he is about to test for his solid yellow belt. He is doing great in school too, just started in the gifted program and is reading like a champ. He and Jake recently went to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios for a belated birthday trip and had a blast.

So that is our update in a nutshell, I will really make an effort to keep them coming, but I don't get nights like this that often!!!

The boys and I tagged along to Orlando with Jake on Ayden's b-day, while he was at the Builders Show, we went to Monkey Joes and jumped and jumped and jumped!!!

Brady was such a trooper

Then we had b-day dinner at Bahama Breeze, he did not hesitate to dig into the chocolate!

The Superhero party, The Flash (Brady) and Superman (Clark)

Here is a taste of the grumpiness at his party (he wanted nothing to do with his cape)

The happiest baby in the universe!
